Jennifer Lopez’s former Miami Beach home has relisted, asking 28 percent above its previous listing price, according to the Wall Street Journal. In 2005, health-care entrepreneur Mark Gainor and his wife, Elyse Gainor, purchased the 12,152-square-foot house from Lopez for $13.9 million. The couple then spent an additional $11 million renovating the property, which is located at 5800 North Bay Road.
The couple put the house – which features a 6,000-gallon koi pond — back on the market in 2010, asking $29 million. The property failed to sell, but has come back on the market for $40 million – the latest South Florida home to try for prices in the $40 million range.
